I think you are wrong Dana . Coaches can explain the role of captains and how they are chosen for that leadership role.

I think Austin was the captain of the track team. I think one of the roles of captains of high school sports is decision making, problem solving , building team morale and etc , stepping up. Athletes have a great camaraderie which solidifies the team. Dana you never were on a sports team were you. You don’t get the camaraderie of the boys do you. This is what Helen’s . Anthony bring an athlete knew what the deal was.
